Accounting and
Tax Services

DBA Advisory combines institutional-grade accounting with disciplined compliance support — every dollar accounted for, every reporting obligation evidenced, every report investor-ready, wherever you operate.

What do accounting and tax services cover?

Accounting and tax services replace fragmented bookkeeping with a managed finance function: accrual-based accounts, compliance preparation, management reporting and audit-ready ledgers.

DBA Advisory delivers them from Sydney to clients internationally on fixed monthly fees, inside your existing systems — Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks — with lodgement handled by registered practitioners in each jurisdiction.

Is your firm ready for AML/CTF Tranche 2?

Since 1 July 2026, accountants, lawyers, conveyancers and real estate agents providing designated services are AUSTRAC reporting entities — carrying financial-crime reporting obligations under the Australian regime. Enrolment, a risk-based AML/CTF program, customer due diligence and ongoing monitoring are now mandatory.

DBA Advisory designs, implements and runs working AML/CTF programs — not templates.

How DBA Helps

Six components of a finance function you never have to apologise for.

Accounting Services to Local Standards

Accrual-based financials prepared to the applicable local standard and reconciled line by line, so the books read the same to your bank, your board and your auditor.

Australian Tax & ATO Compliance

In Australia, BAS, GST, PAYG and statutory filings are managed to deadline, evidenced and reconciled, with the compliance calendar owned by one person.

Management Reporting

Real-time burn, runway and margin visibility on any device — automated, cloud-based and current, so decisions stop waiting on month-end.

Investor-Ready Books

A permanent, high-fidelity data room: reconciled accounts, clean registers and documented policies, maintained continuously rather than assembled under deadline.

Multi-Entity & Cross-Border Structure Support

Intercompany accounts, consolidations and group reporting kept clean as entities are added in new jurisdictions — with structuring and transfer pricing positions coordinated with your tax advisers in each jurisdiction and documented so the rationale survives a question years later.

Audit-Ready Ledgers

Month-end follows the same documented checklist every time — which is exactly what makes year-end quiet.

Financial & Tax Control Wherever You Operate

Technical accounting and tax briefings covering multi-jurisdictional filing schedules, R&D tax substantiation, Australian superannuation obligations, and consolidated reporting standards. Every insight is dated, author-attributed, jurisdiction-tagged, and reviewed against current ATO and international tax authority settings.

About Accounting and Tax

Clear guidance on how we manage cross-border tax calendars, statutory filing schedules, R&D tax incentive substantiation, multi-entity consolidated reporting, and direct coordination with tax authorities.

DBA Advisory prices them as a fixed monthly fee, banded to transaction volumes and reporting scope agreed in advance, quoted in the currency of the engagement. There are no hourly rates and no year-end surprise invoices; the fee changes only when the agreed scope does.

In Australia, yes — DBA Advisory handles activity statements and statutory lodgements as part of the service. Outside Australia it does not lodge returns or represent taxpayers, because it is not registered to do so; it prepares, reconciles and evidences, and your registered local practitioner lodges.

Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks and common payroll and practice systems. We integrate with your existing stack and act as the control layer that makes its data audit-ready — no forced migration.

Yes, for Australian clients. Activity statements, GST reconciliation and PAYG obligations are prepared, reviewed and lodged to deadline, with workpapers retained to evidence every figure. Equivalent indirect-tax obligations in other jurisdictions are prepared for lodgement by your local practitioner.

Yes — financial reconstruction is a core service. We stabilise the ledger, reconcile history and document the corrections, scoped and priced as a defined project before the ongoing service begins.

Yes. We prepare the financial narrative investors expect: a reconciled data room, defensible forecast assumptions and clean group reporting. Because the books are maintained investor-ready year-round, a raise accelerates your timetable instead of consuming it.

If you plan to stay small, possibly. If you plan to scale, raise capital or exit, clean books are the baseline — building them from day one costs far less than a clean-up at day 500. The fixed-fee bands scale down as well as up.

Command Your Capital

Move from reactive filing to financial control — books that are always current, always reconciled, always ready to be shown.
